Hvorfor langdistanse / Femundløpet:
Dogs, nature, challenge and competition are things that I really like. The sport of long distance sled dog racing offers all of it in the same time. Being out in different kinds of weather and terrain together with your best friends is a feeling that is hard to describe in words. Just to start the race with your own dogs is an adventure itself, at least for me. In addition to this there is always a special atmosphere around Femundløpet and Røros during wintertime. In my eyes it is a well-organized race through beautiful landscape surrounded by friendly people. Norway at it's best!

Målsettinger for årets løp:
It will be the first race with our own dogs ever and the goal is to take it easy and have as much fun as possible. And to finish of course.

Spesielle hunder i Femundløp-spannet:
In 2013 my girlfriend Malin Strid and me started to build up our sled dog kennel COLD-NOSE-HUSKIES. We have been breeding and raising our own puppies and they are the dogs that I will run. They have no earlier racing experience and they will have to learn a lot. And so will I. :)
