Arnt Ola is the first musher who tok the mendetory rest and time evaluation so far. All the teams in front of him will have to take rest and evaluation in Søvollen, while he can decide to drive pased. As well has he enough hours in the back hand, that he could even take a brake at Søvollen check point.

If he wants to keep control of the good placement, he will have to follow other mushers closely, then those resting in Søvollen at the time he arrives. Only four minutes after he left Drevsjø, Lars Monsen finished hes mendetory rest including time evaluation. Both chosed to take a relativly short stop and run pased the first check point in Tufsingdal, while other in front of them had longer rests.

The stop watch calculated, that Arnt Ola may be in Søvollen about 9 pm saturday evening. At this time, Nina Skramstad, Birgitte Næss Wærner and a few others  will still have some hours left from their mendetory rest and evaluation before they can check out for the next leg to Tynset.

No one is allowed to leaf Søvollen without having conducted the mendetory rest and time evaluation, what means, the first team out of Søvollen is leading the race. But it is still along way to go to Røros and way to early to say which strategy and which team is going to be fastest back to Røros.
